## Official Statement

Jamey Noel is the disgraced former sheriff of Clark County, Indiana, currently serving a **12-year prison sentence** followed by three years of probation after pleading guilty in October 2024 to **27 felony charges**. His conviction concluded a massive corruption investigation that revealed he stole millions from taxpayers and the nonprofit fire and EMS agency he oversaw, **New Chapel EMS**.





**Criminal Conviction and Sentencing**

In August 2024, Noel changed his plea to admit guilt to charges including **corrupt business influence, theft, tax evasion, money laundering, and official misconduct**.
